Robinson.
Amani Robinson studied stage and concert singing as well as opera at the Musikhochschule Lübeck. Her work has since taken her across musical theatre, drama, operetta and concert stages.
In the 2026/27 season, she appears as Edith Van Hopper in Rebecca at Theater Dortmund. Previous roles include Erma in Anything Goes at Staatsoper Hannover, Anita in West Side Story at Freilichtspiele Schwäbisch Hall and Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray at Theater Bonn.
In 2026, she appeared as a soloist with the WDR Funkhausorchester in The Sound of Pride at the Kölner Philharmonie.
Other roles include Joanne Jefferson in Rent, Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera, Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, Oda Mae Brown in Ghost and Deloris van Cartier in Sister Act.
She also performed in Stage Entertainment’s Sister Act at Theater des Westens in Berlin, Rhein-Main-Theater in Niedernhausen and Deutsches Theater in Munich.
