During her youth Amani Robinson was announced several times  as winner of the competition "Jugend-Musiziert" for solo voice and duo piano / vocal. From 2003 to 2011 Amani Robinson studied Stage and Concert singing technique (Diploma) and Opera (postgraduate) at the Musikhochschule Lübeck (Prof. Ute Niss, Prof. Ute von Garczynski and Heike Wittlieb).

She performed at many concerts with well known conductors as fpr example Manuel Gera, Matthias Janz, Arvid Gast, Urs-Michael Theus and Per Borin. She sang at the Michel in Hamburg, St. Marien in Flensburg and the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg. Amani Robinson participated in several master classes with Markus Schäfer, Michaela Kraemer, Annette Markert and Peter Stamm and was awarded at the Austria Baroque Music Awards with the Audience Award and a scholarship.

She starred as Anna Margareta at the premiere of the musical “ANNA MARGARETA – DAS BUXTEHUDE MUSICAL” under the auspices of the Federal President Horst Köhler. She was booked for the role of Barbara in ONE NIGHT IN VENICE at the Eutinern Festival as well as for the associated NDR television production. Amani Robinson appeared at the Eutiner Festpiele festival as "Marcelline" in Rossini’s THE BARBER OF SEVILLE also. At the Kiel Opera, she acted as Consuelo in Leonard Bernstein's WEST SIDE STORY and as a bird / Walter / Hugo / old woman in modern opera THE BLONDE ECKHART by Judith Weir. At the Nordharzer Städtebundtheater she guested as Dorothy in the family musical THE WIZARD OF OZ, at the Staatstheater Darmstadt as Emeretta in the musical HAIR and as Kiki in FLASHDANCE. At Staatstheater Braunschweig she guested as Supreme in HAIR and as Sarah's Friend / Harlem Ensemble in RAGTIME. Currently Amani is employed as Sarah's Friend / Harlem Ensemble in RAGTIME at Staatstheater Kassel and Deloris van Cartier (Cover)  / Mary Felicitas Isabella in the Stage Entertainment production of SISTER ACT in Berlin, Niedernhausen and Munich as well as Vivian Moore / Cowgirl Jessi at Saatstheater Darmstadt.
